Binding Framework Introduction

Folks,

An introduction to the binding framework is available for discussion
attached the message archived at [1]. It should shortly be available
alongside the other TBTF material at [2], however in the meantime it can be
accessed via the archive. This is very much a work in progress and may be
merged with the material in [3].
