Re: [XPL - eXtensible Programming Language]

Michael, I think it's a fascinating idea. In true synchronicity, I had come
to the same conclusion a few days before I heard about your effort. Since
XML is becoming so rich (or complex, depending on how you look at it) why
not go all the way and add looping and logic in a straightforward way that
all programmers understand.

Also, the possibility of having a format that can be interpreted by all
scripting environments is quite appealing. It could save us the trouble of
integrating every scripting syntax into our environment.

Anyway, I think this idea has merit, and I'm glad you're exploring it and
look forward to seeing what you come up with.
