No, I think I am misunderstood. I do not want to touch Bib-2. My only concern is SRU, CQL and  DC-Lib.

what you want to do.  It's a well-defined attributeset intended to be used

Sounds like what you want is Explain--, now called ZeeRex :)

(I know this is what you want actually, because I've already written this
