The Consortium of the EU founded project ONE-2 wishes to announce the program for the ONE-2 User Trial Seminar.

Objectives of ONE-2 User Trial Seminar

The user trial seminar will give participants background information about the new ONE-2 Z39.50 Profile covering Bibliographic Search & Retrieval, Cross-domain S&R (Dublin Core XML), Holdings Information Retrieval, Shared Cataloguing (UCP) and Item-Ordering (ILL). Furthermore, the seminar will provide technical details about the different ONE-2 services.

This is a unique opportunity to take an active part in the user trials, either as test users or with test systems, possible scenarios will be presented for that purpose. The seminar will also include presentations of ONE-2 Systems and Services.

· Public library users

· Museum users

· Any business active within the library and museums systems area, that is interested in solutions based on the ONE-2 profile (Search & Retrieval, Item Order, Inter Library Loan and Union Catalogue in the cultural area)

Attendance at the ONE-2 User Trial Seminar is free of charge, if you register before 17^th March 2001.
