We've been having problems with the UMI server and I would like to talk to a
technical contact.

Our problem is that when we send a search request, we get a response saying
that one record has been returned but no record is actually returned and we
get a present status of 2, which means that the record was too large to
return.  This happens no matter what search we send and the first record in
every search is rarely too large to return.
