Fitting a (long) word to a table cell

Hi,

I have a problem where I'd need to force a word, which is longer than a
table cell, to fit into that cell, even if it means breaking the word
between characters (I don't need correct hyphenation here). Is this possible
to render with FOP? What does the specification say about a situation like
this?
