Summary: Open content allows (but ignores) minOccurs and
                    maxOccurs
           Product: XML Schema
           Version: 1.1 only
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows NT
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Structures: XSD Part 1
        AssignedTo: David_E3@VERIFONE.com
        ReportedBy: mike@saxonica.com

It seems that the XML representation allows minOccurs and maxOccurs on the
<xs:any> element that is a child of <xs:openContent>, but these attributes are
not mapped to anything in the schema component model. Since the attribute have
no meaning (and especially since it may not be obvious to users that they have
no meaning) they should be disallowed in the XML representation.
