Summary: Whitespace in xpath attribute forbidden by pattern
           Product: XML Schema
           Version: 1.0/1.1 both
          Platform: All
               URL: http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-1/#c-selector-xpath
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Structures: XSD Part 1
        AssignedTo: cmsmcq@w3.org
        ReportedBy: Martin.vGagern@gmx.net
         QAContact: www-xml-schema-comments@w3.org

The Schema Component Constraints "Selector Value OK" and "Fields Value OK"
specify that whitespace is allowed as part of the xpath expressions. This seems
to be the result of bug 2051. The pattern restriction in the schema for
schemas, on the other hand, was not changed, so it still forbids whitespace.
