In 3.3.3.1, the prose appears to allow a leading plus sign in the lexical
representation of xs:decimal, but the regular expression does not.

Also note: In 3.3.3.1, the sentence "The mapping from values to ˇcanonical
representationsˇ is given formally in ˇdecimalCanonicalMapˇ." appears
redundantly. It belongs (and appears again) in 3.3.3.2.
