Question about inheritance/derivation in the XML-Schema datatype specification

Hello all,

We asked ourself whether it is possible to have cycles in an inheritance/derivation graph of XML-Schema-datatypes.
Is this valid/possible under the actual XML-Schema-specification or not ?
