1. The "Schema for Datatype Definitions (normative)" in section 6 "Conformance" of "XML Schema Part 2: Datatypes" (working draft of 22 September 2000) contains the following error. The element beginning with <element ref="annotation" minOccurs="0"/> is terminated by the end-tag <s/element> When <s/element> is replaced with </element> the schema is in complete accordance with the DTD in section E "(non-normative) DTD for Schema" of "XML Schema Part 1: Structures" (working draft of 22 September). 2. Though it is not an error, the DTD in section E "(non-normative) DTD for Schema" of "XML Schema Part 1: Structures" (working draft of 22 September) declares the parameter entity <!ENTITY % complexDerivationChoice "(extension|restriction)"> which is not referenced in that DTD or the DTD in section B "DTD for Datatype Definitions (nonnormative)" of "XML Schema Part 2: Datatypes" (working draft of 22 September 2000).
