About an example

Hi every body,
I'm new here and I have a question about the example given in
(XQuery 1.0 and XPath 2.0 Data Model ; W3C Working Draft 7 June 2001).
In section 10, there an XML document and an XML schema. I can not
validate this schema. May be because of the "anonymous" complexType
definition in the schema. Are there any problems with this schema? With
the content of the complexType definition?
