In fact, they're not closed, they're still open with explicit dissent
recorded in a few cases and implied dissent in others. Implied dissent
isn't a technical term :-), it just means that I didn't hear back from
the commenter after my last attempt to reach closure, but I don't
believe they're likely to be satisfied.
