 thank you for your comment on the XPointer CR specification.
I case you didn't already got an answer from the Working Group,
your comment has been taken into consideration and is now listed
in the XPointer CR Disposition of Comments at:
   http://www.w3.org/XML/2000/10/xptr-CR-comments.html

 More specifically you raised the following issue:
    - Issue (additional-functions)

Which was rejected. Adding new features to XPointer at that stage would
have been rather difficult. It seems more useful to reference output from
the XML Query WG when available, possibly by augmenting future versions
of XPointer to reuse those.
Could you indicate if you accept the Working Group decision on this issue ?
