All, Here is something that we would like to share this with all of you so that we can get some comments and do the most appropriate way. Spec - XKMS, X-Bulk, etc Specification. Currently, the specs when published they are in a seperate dir and this is reflected in the main html doc on www.w3.org/2001/xkms/ . This is not scalable. Given that we need:- 1. A stable copy of the spec 2. A working editor's copy so that people who send in comments can use the latest as the reference. I would like to suggest - make a single editors-copy directory. - Check specs in that directory and use CVS versioning to update it. - when we feel that a particular version needs to be singled out, then we make a dir under that date and plop in a copy. (stable copy) - with this at all times, the editor's copy will have the latest rev. + we can also run the validation on that and make sure that is fixed at all times so that when the time to single one out comes, less headache + in most cases, we are only reving up the html document - hence only one doc gets updated as compared to html + gifs + css Do you guys feel that this is a decent solution?
