is it possible to deploy webservice on WEBSERVER rather than application server??

Hi

I am working on Oracle SOA suite... i am using OC4J application server 
and deploying webservices..,soap services... on this Application server..
I have a question...

is it possible to deploy webservice on WEBSERVER rather than application 
server?? or is it possible to deploy webservices on http web server... ???
