Bjoern, You raised an issue against the "Assigning Media Types to Binary Data in XML" Last Call WD [1] in your email at [2]. This was accepted by the WSD WG [3] as issue 256 [4]. The WSD WG closed this issue without any change to the document. The WG found the use of 'charset' parameters for texual media-types to be very useful. Similar feedback [5] has been sent by the i18n WG. Thanks and best regards. -Anish Karmarkar On behalf of the WSD WG -- [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/WD-xml-media-types-20041102/ [2] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-ws-media-types/2004Nov/0000.html [3] http://www.w3.org/2002/ws/desc/ [4] http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/%7Echeckout%7E/2002/ws/desc/issues/wsd-issues.html#x256 [5] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-ws-media-types/2005Feb/0000.htmlReceived on Friday, 11 March 2005 01:05:51 GMT
