Hi,
Attached is another update of the refactored spec work by the breakout team/task force, for review on the call tomorrow and on the public email list.
It includes new material on SOA from David Orchard, updated Concepts and Relationships section from Katia and Frank, and updated Stakeholders Viewpoint section from Katia and Frank, and some input on manageability from Zulah. It also references David Booth's updated Web Services Architectural Roles document.
The draft is for review by the group to show progress in further document refactoring, per guidance in the last two calls. Some things that we received feedback on are not yet done, including adding a "simple to complex" introduction to the concepts and relationships, and reconciling the concepts and relationships section with the glossary information. The concepts and relationships section includes quite a bit of commentary.
Next steps would be to finish including the remainder of existing text, processing comments, and preparing a list of proposed text changes based on the refactoring work.
I've also attached a revised SOA diagram and a diagram Frank created for the concepts and relationships section.
