Harvesting wisdom from the mailing list (was RE: Stranger in a St range Land

In a private email, Roger pointed out that there was some interesting
material that would benefit our document--if it could be harvested. Please,
Lets make sure that since we seem determined to pursue this conversation
now, that it gets into the record in a way that the editors can use in the
document.
 
It is a little saddening that I have yet to see a quote from the document or
suggestion how to improve it.
 

+1 Let's get more specific:  Who will take an action item to review section
6.3.3 of the current draft document in light of Roger's post and the
responses (I'm thinking especially of

and suggest specific enhancement to the document based on the email thread?
 
There are probably plenty of other areas of the document that can be
enhanced by harvesting text, or at least ideas, from the list.  Can anyone
volunteer for some other areas that aren't already on the agenda / action
items list but have generated some good mailing list discussion?
