FYI: Amazon Web Services

Amazon just announced a Web Services-based access to its services. See
http://www.amazon.com/webservices . 

From a quick look at the toolkit documentation, it looks like they support
both HTTP-based and SOAP-based access. The HTTP-based access returns an XML
document, and it looks to me like the first commercial high-profile REST
approach to Web Services (besides the original Google HTTP access, which was
dropped at the time of their official WS announcement).
