I'm Sinisa Zimek and I'll represent SAP in the Web Services Architecture
working group.

My background includes over 12 years of technology and product management,
development as well as consulting in the business application and technology
area. I've been in the design and development of distributed architectures
in various Internet and intranet applications domains, including computer
supported cooperative work, self services and hypertext systems. I've been
active in European standardization bodies as well as in OASIS, ebXML and
other consortia.

In my current role as director for XML and Java-based technology
architectures, I'm focusing on standards and architectures of web services
as part of SAP overall strategy in open standards and distributed
architectures. I've been a supporter of the concept of 'software as a
service' for a couple of years and believe that this WG has the potential to
ensure the evolvement of the web in this direction.

I agree to participate as per the charta
http://www.w3.org/2002/01/ws-arch-charter. To my knowledge SAP has no IPR
claims that pertain to the work of this working group.
