My name is Anne Thomas Manes, and I will represent Systinet in the Web
Services Architecture working group. I look forward to working with all of
you.

I am CTO at Systinet, a Web Services infrastructure company. My role is to
define Systinet's Web Services product strategy. My goal in this group is to
make sure we establish standards that allow us to ensure interoperability
for advanced system services, such as security, transactions, and
reliability. I have been involved with various distributed computing
standards efforts over the years, including DCE, CORBA, and now Web
Services. Recently I have been participating in UDDI, ebXML, BTP, and JAXTX
efforts. I'm also a lurker on the SAML effort. I participated in the Web
Services workshop last April as a representative from Sun.

Systinet does not have any IPR claims that pertain to Web Services
Architecture.

I agree to participate per the charter [1] last revised 2002/01/26.
