This may or may not be of interest; I haven't read it yet ...
From http://webservices.org/index.php/article/articleview/594/1/1/

"Jean-Jacques Dubray has published a couple papers that provide a new model
for "Multi-party collaboration" and "Business Process Definition"

The papers are:

1) Multi-party collaboration http://www.ebpml.org/ebpml.doc

2) Business Process Definition: http://www.ebpml.org/ebpml2.2.doc

These models are both based on the semantics and the ebXML BPSS
specification (http://www.ebxml.org/specs/ebBPSS.pdf) which have been
modified to be able to compose web service operations and ebXML business
transactions within the same framework."
