With all due respect, businesses just want people to understand their
business problems and help them build solutions to those business
problems.  They aren't looking for software vendors to tell them what to
do, they are looking for software vendors who listen and respond.

I agree with you that most businesspeople would be concerned if they
thought the Internet was going to topple and make it impossible for
their grandmothers to download recipes.  But I haven't heard any
businesspeople who perceive such a risk or begging for a demagogue to
"defend the Internet".

Or is this a situation of "they want it, but they just don't know yet"?
