Subject: World Cup access logs now available
Hi
The access logs from the 1998 World Cup Web site have been added to
the W3C Web Characterization Repository located at
http://purl.org/net/repository
The logs contain 1.3 billion requests collected over a three month
period. For more information on these logs please refer to
ftp://researchsmp2.cc.vt.edu/pub/worldcup/WorldCup.html
A technical report describing the workload characterization of these
logs is available at
http://www.hpl.hp.com/techreports/1999/HPL-1999-35R1.html
Thanks to Hussein Suleman for all of his work in adding the logs to the
repository.
If you have any questions about the logs themselves please contact me at
arlitt@hpl.hp.com
