alas, for several practical reasons, in the real world this is not
often possible. even if one identifies an individual "client", dhcp
and re-assigning of ip addresses to dial up customers in a shared isp
situation, will not permit such tracking. proxies in the path and
entities like www.anonyizer.com stir the bog further.
