Hi Pei,

A former grad student in our research group (www.cs.vt.edu/nrg) wrote an
anonymizer for common log format files in 1995.  Look at the tool called
"CLFmunge" in www.cs.vt.edu/~nrg/WWWTrafficTools.html.

If you find it useful, feel free to reuse or modify this Pearl program.
