Subject: Re: How to certify a log

In addition to certifying logs I'd like to see a minimal set of information
about the log that can help others use it:
  
  - where was it collected
  - from when to when		(may be duplication information 
				 but it always is better to crosscheck) 
  - how was it collected
  - what is the network enviroment
    (e.g. clients connected via modem, T1, partial T3, 
          network connectivity via T1, T3, multihomed to multiple providers...
    (clients are on LAN's, VPN, Coorporate network, Internet)
  - how many requests
  - how many users 
  - uptime (downtime)

Please add others to the list that could be useful
