The website you are referring to merely links to the W3C Markup Validation service (which is what this mailing list is about). It is not run by the same people. You are complaining in the wrong place.

You are also wrong. The US Constitution doesn't use Noah Webster's (i.e. the modern American) spelling of "defence".
