Dear sirs,

we are developing an HTML5 website and we are encountering validation problems trying to include Facebook namespace elements.

The validation problem occurs declaring xmlns:fb="http://www.facebook.com/2008/fbml" :

Line 2, Column 112: Attribute xmlns:fb not allowed here.

…9/xhtml" xmlns:fb="http://www.facebook.com/2008/fbml" lang="en" class="no-js">

What is wrong with this? Is HTML5 not supporting namespaces? Or is the validator still incomplete? Or are we making any mistake?

The only resource we found is another person facing the same problem here:

http://fbml5.blogspot.com/2010/08/problem-with-html5.html

Is there a way to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Any help would be appreciated,

Cheers,
