Are you sure the API is working > correctly? I don't think it's possible to answer that question without more details. Are you trying against your local validator instance or validator.w3.org, and have you looked at the returned XML for example in a browser? What's the exact full URL to the API you're using? Are there any error or warning messages in your web server's log (if you're running your own instance)?
