Can you:

1. Open the page in a browser
2. View source of the page
3. Save the viewed source
4. Run the validator on that saved page

That should give you the line numbers you need.

I think it would be really useful if the validator would provide the rendered html which it ran it’s validation on so I can find exactly what the context and cause of each error is.  Right now it tells me line numbers for each error, but I can’t use that to find the errors because when I hit the page I get different content.  Aaron R. Baker
