there is no attribute "target" ???

Hi there,
 
I am the webmaster of http://www.armbanduhr.org - I tried to validate my page but unfortunately I recieved some errors. One error I do not understand is the following:
 
there is no attribute "target"
 
Why is it not allowed to have this in an  TAG?
 
I am a bit confused.
