1) To send a mail to the mailing list your site has a link.
When I click it, Windows tries to install Outlook.
You should perhaps offer another way to send a mail without the link.

2) The !DOCTYPE line can tell IE6 onwards to be standard-compliant.
The syntax of the line is complicated.

Suggest you have a means to validate a site: 

-"The site is telling IE6 onwards to use CSS standards"
-"The site is telling IE6 onwards not to use CSS standards"
