Oh dear. W3Schools (which is not, in any way, affiliated with the W3C)
suffers from a great many errors and examples that avoid best practise
as much as possible.

This is the mailing list for the W3C Validator, not W3Schools.

You should look for a contact address for W3Schools if you wish to
communicate with them.
