Your server sends

  Content-Type: application/xhtml+xml
  Content-Encoding: utf-8

That is wrong. It must be

  Content-Type: application/xhtml+xml; charset=utf-8


However, what's the point? Serve your pages as text/html if you want
to publish something on the web.
