error given as "... must be one of %3" What is %3?

The fifth (5th) error in this list (when grouping the errors) shows up as
"value of attribute Y cannot be X; must be one of %3"

I imagine the %3 should have been replaced with something, perhaps "A, B, C."


(If the errors are listed sequentially, the error message looks correct.)
