xmlns:v to use vml from Fabio Guerreiro on 2007-07-03 (www-validator@w3.org from July 2007)

  Error Line 2 column 51: there is no attribute "xmlns:v".
  <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:v="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml">
   
  i'm using google maps and they say(and are correct) that i need to use what the validation says it's an error. If i erase that and leave the <html> only when i try to draw lines it simply doesn't work.
  should i keep it heving it this error or there's any other way to do this and passing the validation.
