You write XHTML 1.0 Strict - but you put in pseudo-comments
that were once necessary for Netscape 2 (two!) and HTML.
Such pseudo-comments were not even necessary for Netscape 3 (three!).

Do not put pseudo-comments inside <style> when you write XHTML!
