Validating

[bug in http://validator.w3.org?
It seems
<img style="border:0;width:88px;height:31px"
src="http://www.w3.org/Icons/valid-xhtml10"alt="Valid XHTML 1.0
Transitional" />
(no space between xhtml10" and alt=") is valid in
http://validator.w3.org but http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/
returns an error message prompting me to check the xml.
