It's an idea for stuff like text screen shots.  Old browsers
may not support UTF-8, or at least not the box characters etc.
available in 437 and 850.  What has your question to do with
validating HTML ?  Where did the OP mention "public" ?

Is "inappropriately valid" a proposed feature ?  Bye, Frank
