Support data: URIs

Hi,
   I was wondering if there were any plans to support data: URIs (RFC 
2387) in the validator?  If not, I would like to request that it be 
supported, just for convenience rather than having to upload a file or 
use the fragment validator when I generate quick (X)HTML documents as 
data URIs, rather than having to make a new file all the time.
