Hi,
I have a link to an applet on the site of the NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children) which shows pictures of missing children. The downloaded code was an applet and worked fine. I am converting my pages to XHTML 1.0 now and the last thing that I have not been able to make in compliance is the statement "code="NCMECbanner.class" in the <object>. I changed all the code to comply except that one and the object works on my site. I have tried replacing the 'code=" with all the listed attributes to object that I know. Nothing else works. Help! Please!
The page can be viewed at http://home1.gte.net/res04j39/index.html Thanks for any help you can give.
