Validator half working

Dears,

I made a virtual host in my computer called it www.v.com with the
directory "/var/www/html/v"

When I first type www.v.com in my browser, I get the page for the
validator without the header.html and footer.html.

WHen I select a file for validation I get the 404 Not Found msg saying
file not found with www.v.com/check in the browser address field.

Can anyone help?
