Validator results page problem

Hi there!  I was using the validation service (Thank you!!) and once I got 
my page validated, I wanted to use your icon.  The suggested HTML for
displaying the icon is 

    <p>
      <a href="http://validator.w3.org/check/referer"><img border="0"
          src="http://www.w3.org/Icons/valid-html401"
          alt="Valid HTML 4.01!" height="31" width="88"></a>
    </p>

But when you go to http://validator.w3.org/check/referer, you get 
an error!
