Validator is not a person (?)

Currently the validator gives some error messages like

> Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because
> on lines 18, 20-21  it contained one or more bytes
> that I cannot interpret as utf-8 --

or

> I am falling back to "HTML 4.01 Transitional" and
> will attempt to validate the document anyway, --

How about changing the wording to something like

> Sorry, this document could not be validated because...

and

> The document was attempted to be validated against
> the fall-back version "HTML 4.01 Transitional"...

English is not my native language but hopefully you
get the point.
