Page Valet has been in Beta for some time, running with mod_validator.
After the inevitable "issues" at first, it's been stable for some time:
the last reported problem[1] was fixed on April 13th.  I'm therefore
dropping the "beta" label, and bumping up the mod_validator release
number to 1.0.

mod_validator is a module for Apache 2.0, offering a number of
significant advantages over previous online validators,
including greater accuracy, friendlier error messages,
and greatly improved performance.

Source code is available free under the GPL.

(Anyone who downloaded source before today may wish to update - the
latest fix wasn't copied to the download page until today).



[1] not a bug, just inadequate error reporting when connecting to
a broken HTTP server:-)
