Page Valet 4.1 is now running at <URL:http://valet.webthing.com/page/> offering the best ever online validation service for HTML, XML and SGML document types. In contrast to earlier Page Valet versions and other online validation services, Page Valet 4 is based on a pure Apache module. This offers major performance improvements and improved accuracy, as well as simplifying the overall system. Page Valet 4.1 is the first online service to incorporate multiple parsers in a single validator. In addition to OpenSP, the parser used in other services such as the W3C and WDG validators as well as earlier Page Valet versions, Xerces is now supported, offering better and more complete XML support. The former Site Valet XML validator is now merged into the new Page Valet. The source code is available at <URL://www.webthing.com/software/mod_validator/>.
