Probably a stupid question, if using link checker via command line can you
only check a directory structure or can you do spider a site in the same way
that you spider via the web form, if you can do this does anyone have a
syntax example i have tried using the help and running the following command

 ./checklink.pl -l www.kudos-idd.com -h -r -D -1 -h

For the html out put i get

W3C checklink version (c) 1999-2002 W3C,
by <a href="http://www.w3.org/People/Hugo/">Hugo Haas</a> and others.<br>
Please send bug reports, suggestions and comments to the

mailing list</a>
(<a href="http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-validator/">archives</a>).
Check out the <a href="docs/checklink.html">documentation</a>.
Download the
pl?rev=;content-type=text/plain">source code</a> from

I am most definately missing something, any suggestions most welcome.

Thanks in advance
