Congratulations, with that update any XHTML+MathML referencing that DTD
(including any document that was created with SciWriter)
will not be displayed anymore.

The progress seems to be that you don't have to have a MathML plugin
installed to see the a blank screen in IE6 headed by the error message:

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

A name was started with an invalid character. Error processing resource 'test.xml'. Line 1, Position 2

All documents with that doctype are now disabled:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1 plus MathML 2.0//EN"

The old version :

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1 plus MathML 2.0//EN"

The only bad thing is, the error message is not cross-browser compliant, you dont see
it in Mozilla, since unfortunately Mozilla uses its own DTD.

Following comments on the MathML DTD during the recent MathML 2 last call
as discussed on the www-math list, and with some further entity
definition corrections to align with the STIX consortium's entity data,
we have updated the MathML DTD at
and the description of the characters entities at
